Version 1.0.6
Release notes.
October 21, 2026
- Ordinary music imports now reference the selected files in their existing locations instead of copying audio into Localfy’s managed music folder.
- Reimporting an already cataloged file reuses its existing entry rather than adding another copy.
- Use Library Health to relink a file if you move it.
Version 1.0.6 is the current release. Read the 1.0.6 release notes; earlier notes remain available for 1.0.4, 1.0.3, 1.0.2 and 1.0.1.
Before you install
Localfy 1.0.6 for Windows.
Setup installs Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.1 from Microsoft if it is missing. Internet and Windows administrator approval may be needed for that step. The app and installer are unsigned.
