Localfy 1.0.5 is available for Windows. Folder imports now reuse one local metadata reader for the import batch, reducing per-track setup work while still releasing each track item.
New profiles continue to open with an empty library. Localfy does not include sample recordings or commercial album artwork.
Verification
The exact 1.0.5 candidate passed 4 isolated first-run checks and 10 package-integrity checks. Its 13-check stress run imported 10,000 generated 100 ms WAV files plus one byte-identical duplicate, then verified source preservation, duplicate suppression, catalog reload, and missing-copy recovery. The run took 7m06s on the Windows 11 Home test PC; the earlier candidate took 14m10 on the same workload, about 50% longer. These are single synthetic runs, not a speed guarantee. Isolated regression runs also passed 29 UI checks for Home scrolling, artist-to-album navigation, album tracks, and favorite-icon spacing, plus 7 keyboard checks for Ctrl + Backspace and Ctrl + Delete. These checks reconfirm existing behavior.
The clean-machine installation and uninstall, exact Setup update behavior, the missing-.NET download path, broad Windows compatibility, and runtime network capture were not verified. The app and installer are unsigned; Windows may show a warning or block them.
