Localfy 1.0.4 is available for Windows. It keeps the first-run library empty: you choose the audio files or folders to add, and Localfy does not include sample recordings or commercial artwork.
What changed
- Large libraries load in pages to keep Home, album, and artist browsing responsive.
- Fixed additional Home scrolling and favorite-control layout cases.
- Optional product metrics are off by default and can be changed or erased in Settings.
- Improved local metrics erasure when Windows temporarily locks its encrypted files.
Product metrics are a separate, optional setting. If you enable them, Localfy sends a random installation ID, session ID, event type, app version, and UTC calendar date to Nyvera. It does not send music, filenames, file paths, account names, or exception details. The privacy page explains retention, limits, and how to turn sharing off or request erasure.
Verification
A prior 1.0.4 build passed 11 checks with 10,000 synthetic tracks and 8 first-run checks. The exact 1.0.4 app passed 37 focused metrics consent and erasure checks. The installer’s embedded app and third-party notices match their standalone files by SHA-256. These checks do not cover every Windows setup or audio device.
The installer and app are unsigned. Windows may show a warning or block them. See the download page for the exact checksum, prerequisites, and testing limits.
